TestimonialsUkrainian Village "It is becoming more and more difficult to find conscientious people, who will follow-up with you promptly and consistently. As a first time home buyer, Austin provided my wife and me with a home buying 101 "course" where he methodically walked us through each step of the home buying process. He spent a lot of time with us and showed no sign of impatience or frustration as we walked through dozens of condos in search of our perfect first home. He made us feel as though we were his most important client even though, as a young engaged couple who were saving for a wedding, we certainly were not shopping in a high price range. Each neighborhood we searched through, Austin provided us with the best places to go for night life and dining. We still eat breakfast regularly at one of his suggestions 2.5 years later. I've recommended Austin to multiple friends who have all had equally positive experiences with his services."
Mike | Logan Square "We would like to offer our solid recommendation of Austin Bader of Chicago Home Estates as your realtor.
We began looking for a house in Chicago in January of 2005. With Austin’s help we saw many homes in the price range, style and areas we wanted. Austin was there during every step of the process. By April of that year, we had closed on our new place in Logan Square and were very happy to have found just the right home for us.
Austin is a personable, knowledgeable, reliable and thorough guy whom you can definitely trust for your house buying or selling needs. We give him an A+."
Bob & Penelope | Ukrainian Village "It has been three years since my lovely wife Joy and I met Austin Bader. Joy walked into an Open House in Bucktown where she was greeted by Austin. Joy, a keen observer of people, was very happy to meet an unpretentious, bright and friendly realtor. It was important for us to find someone real; someone who could understand us and our needs.
Austin was our man.
This was our first home purchase and it had to be right. First home buyers need to be educated and nurtured. Austin spent a lot of time helping us to understand the process, the associated costs, how to manage our expectations, and, ultimately how to make the best decision.
Now our search was on. Austin spent countless hours with us looking at houses that fell into our criteria. I think the best way to explain his commitment to our needs was when he walked us up to a listing, opened the door, walked in, stopped, looked at us, and then said “we’re outta here”. He was right. Not for us.
After visiting countless listings, we found our dream home. We were the first to see it. Austin knew it…we knew it. He was very excited for us, but he also kept our expectations in line knowing that there was still work to do. The offer process, the inspection, the negotiation process was all handled professionally and swiftly by Austin.
We are so grateful to Austin; for what we learned in the process, for the home we found together and for the friendship and guidance he provided."
Dave & Joy | Evanston We had been searching for an affordable multi unit building for some time with little success. Then, some trusted friends who spoke very highly of Austin introduced us to him. Upon our first meeting, we knew almost immediately that he’d be our buyer’s agent. Austin came up with a number of listings that were very attractive and we soon wrote an offer on a very nice three flat.
Initially, we had intended on working without a Realtor in order to save a few dollars. That just turned out to be a headache. Austin ended up saving us a good deal of money by negotiating the seller down substantially from list price.
Austin also referred a lender who put together a great mortgage package for us. We love our home, which has since increased in value quite a bit, and we have Austin to thank for this.
