For those of you who are looking for things to do in Lakeview - why not go see a play or improv show? You have a lot of options for both.

Up north there is always something good playing Strawdog Theatre. Currently they have Ugly Baby playing late night on the weekends.

If you go a bit west to Clark Street - just south of Wrigley Field is the IO (formerly Improv Olympic.) If you’re looking for true improv - this is the place to go. Bassprov is one of the best.

Keep going south and you’ll hit the Theatre Building. This place has four stages and runs an incredible amount of shows - an early round and then a round of late night shows as well.

Lastly, if you haven’t seen it there’s always Blue Man Group - always a safe bet for some fun.
