Armour Square Community Area is a sliver of Chicago's South-Side. The West boundary, shared with Lower West Side Community Area and Bridgeport Community Area, begins where 18th St (1800S) crosses the South Branch of the Chicago River, approximately 300W. South down the river to the Dan Ryan Expressway, the boundary snakes its way through the Stevenson and Dan Ryan Expressways to meet up with 25th Pl (2500S) and Wallace St (600W). Continue East on 25th St to Canal St (500W), South to 28th St (2800S), East to Stewart Ave (400W), and South to Pershing Rd at 3900S, the southern limit of Armour Square Community Area, also common to Fuller Park Community Area. The North edge is a short strip of 18th St between the Chicago River and Clark St (100W). Near South Side Community Area, just to the North, also shares the West border along with Douglas Community Area. The West border slightly follows the 100W coordinate, intermittently covering Federal, LaSalle, and Clark Streets.
