Austin Community Area is one of Chicago's largest Community Areas on the West side. The North border, common to Montclare Community Area and Belmont Cragin Community Area, follows the Metra Milwaukee District West Line from 2380N and 7200W (Harlem Ave) ESE to 1820N and 4600W. The East boundary roughly follows the 4600W coordinate and, intermittently, Kenton Ave. Humboldt Park Community Area, North Lawndale Community Area, and West Garfield Park also share this border. The southern limit is at Roosevelt Rd (1200S) between Austin Blvd (6000W) and the 4600W coordinate. Austin Community Area's West edge begins at Harlem Ave, South to North Ave (1600N), East to Austin Blvd, then South to Roosevelt Rd.
