Logan Square Community Area shares its West border with Hermosa Community Area starting at Diversey Ave (2800N) and the Metra Milwaukee District North Line, at approximately 4100W. Following the Metra Line South to Fullerton Ave (2400N), a short jump to the East and Pulaski Rd (4000W), and South to Dickens Ave (2100N). Continuing East, the border rejoins the Metra Line southward to Armitage Ave (2000N) and Springfield Ave (3900W), then South on Springfield Ave to Cortland St (1900N), East to the Metra Line again, and South to Bloomingdale Ave (1800N). Logan Square Community Area's southern border, which is the 1800N coordinate and Bloomingdale Ave, runs from the Metra Line East to the North Branch of the Chicago River and is common to Humboldt Park Community Area and West Town Community Area. The North border, Diversey Ave, runs East to Western Ave (2400W) and then North to the North Branch of the Chicago River; and is shared with Avondale Community Area. The eastern edge, and neighboring Lincoln Park Community Area, follows the river South to Bloomingdale Ave.
