North Park Community Area is one of the Northern-most Community Areas. A shared border on the West with
Forest Glen Community Area begins at Devon Ave (6400N) and Springfield Ave (3900W). Cutting diagonally to the South-West and across Pulaski Rd, the border joins up with Peterson Ave (6000N) at 4120W, and moves West to Rogers Ave (4150W). Following Rogers Ave SW to Kostner Ave (4400W), South to Bryn Mawr Ave (5600N), then West to the North Branch of the Chicago River, the border follows a small stretch of the river to Cicero Ave (4800W) and moves South to finish at Foster Ave (5200N). The South border, shared with
Albany Park Community Area begins at Foster and Cicero Aves heading East to Keeler Ave (4200W), South to Carmen Ave (5100N), East to Kedvale Ave (4134W), South to Argyle St (5000N), East to Pulaski Rd (4000W), then North back to Foster Ave heading East. The Southern border continues along the North Branch of the Chicago River from where Foster Ave crosses the river (approximately 3950W) down to the intersection of the North Branch of the Chicago River and North Shore Channel at 5100N and 3000W. The West edge follows the North Shore Channel North to Devon Ave and is shared with
West Ridge Community Area and
Lincoln Square Community Area. The North border of North Park Community Area is Devon Ave, between Springfield Ave on the West and the North Shore Channel on the East.
