Preparing the Exterior of Your Home |
Your front door says a lot; it represents your home and what potential Buyers can expect. Mostly overlooked, but highly recognized, aspects of a primary entry are easily turned into features that a Buyer will appreciate. Make sure that the light is sufficient for the space and the lighting fixtures are in sale condition, and that the doorbell or doorknocker is in excellent condition, as well. A simple change in house numbers can be a subtle, yet effective, difference, too. Keeping with the goal of removing clutter, patio furniture and decorations should be respectful to the scale of the area in question. Again, substantial concrete surfaces should be maintained appropriately, as in the manner of garages and carports.
