| ECA Board members and Volunteers work throughout the year to maintain the quality of our community. Special Annual Events include: 4th of July Parade and Picnic, Holiday Party with the REAL Santa, Easter Egg Hunt, and the Spookiest House Contest. Community Services the ECA is involved in: Landscaping and Beautification of Public Areas, Snowplowing of side streets, Community Development, Building & Zoning, Police & Fire Department, Public Safety and Transportation, Forest Preserve District and Park District, and Schools |

| "This distinctive example of a railroad suburb, platted in 1894 by businessman and alderman Arthur Dixon, was built near the Chicago, Milwaukee, and St. Paul Railway.
