Located along Halsted Street just west of the Loop, the Greektown Neighborhood is home to a mostly Greek American population. However, more than a heavily populated neighborhood, this is a fantastic place to try Grecian cuisine and has become quite famous with Chicago residents and also tourists. Greektown also boasts the nation's first Hellenic Museum and Cultural Center on Adams Street and provides plenty of entertainment at their annual Greek American Parade. Greektown is just one of a collection of smaller communities that make up the Near West Side Community Area of Chicago, definitely a place like no other!
