The Lawndale Neighborhood is one of Chicago's most geographically expansive neighborhoods, comfortably covering well in excess of 300 city blocks and spanning up to five individual zip codes as well as 5 unique "Chicago Community Areas". The North boundary, beginning at 450 S Western Ave (2400W), follows the Eisenhower Expressway West to Central Ave (5600W). From here, the West limit follows Central Ave South to Roosevelt Rd (1200S), East to the train tracks along the 4600W coordinate, then South to the southern border of Ogden Ave at 2500S. Following Ogden Ave North-East to the 2100S coordinate, the line moves East, intermittently along sectioned 21st St to the Metra BNSF Line near 3000W. The boundary follows the rail line to it's completion at Western Ave, the eastern edge of Lawndale. Lawndale also contains two other neighborhoods: Homan Square and Douglas Park.
