The Norwood Park East Neighborhood is one of Chicago's most extreme far North-West Side neighborhoods, second only to Edison Park. The North edge of Norwood Park East roughly follows Albion Ave (~6600N) to Milwaukee Ave, SE to Devon Ave, East to Melvina Ave, South to Indian Rd and, finally SE to Austin Ave (6000W), the Eastern edge of the neighborhood. The West border is Harlem Ave (7200W), South to the southern border of the Northwest Hwy. As part of Chicago's "Emerald Necklace," Norwood Park East residents enjoy a heavily forested scenery that is exclusive to the far North-West neighborhoods of Chicago like neighboring Old Norwood Park and South Edgebrook.
