In the Near West Side Community Area of Chicago lies the up and coming Tri-Taylor Neighborhood, the newest developing adjunct of the West Loop. Just West of University Village, the Tri-Taylor Neighborhood is situated between Roosevelt and Harrison to the South and North, respectively, and Halsted on the East and Ashland to the West. New construction projects are abundant as are total renovations of architecturally significant buildings.
Its Historic District is a national landmark neighborhood and served as a landing place for immigrants in the late 1800’s. Today, this area encompasses the University of Illinois at Chicago as well as Chicago’s noted ‘medical district.’ It’s a few city blocks from both Little Italy’s Taylor Street restaurant district and Chicago’s renowned Greek Town on Halsted Street.
