The Uptown Neighborhood, like many neighborhoods on Chicago's North-Side, has gone through many drastic swings and changes in its history. In the 1920’s it was home to dozens of the finest stores and entertainment venues in the city. Al Capone did much of his extracurricular "business" out of The Green Mill which is still open for Jazz today. The Uptown Theatre and The Riviera Theatre have also gone through recent renovations and once again host some of the best musical talent in the country.
